Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Schedule | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, paramedics, and PCTs across all shifts
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Operate unit equipment including Welch Allyn and GE devices in accordance with facility policies
• Adhere to unit guidelines and policies consistent with HCA standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Current ALS (ACLS) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Current ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Emergency Department experience
• PALS certification in addition to or in lieu of ENPC
• Team-oriented, flexible, and positive demeanor with the ability to thrive in a close-knit, community-focused environment
