Management and Program Analyst

Duties

The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.

The duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Provides a variety of services relative to the development, analysis, review, and coordination of proposed PCC or CSTFP program policies designed to meet program management and operational needs.
• Employs quantitative and qualitative analytical methods in conducting macro-planning studies or initiatives of the CSTFP branch, or PCC overall.
• Reviews and evaluates applications for regulated articles and issues transit or other permits, letters of no jurisdiction, or letters of denial.
• Analyzes technical information to determine the propriety or necessary safeguards of PPQ permits and transit commodities through the US.
• Collaborates with the containment scientist or other regulatory specialists to analyze and develop the most effective permit conditions for safeguarding the regulated material.
• Coordinates with field personnel on new inspections and compliance inspections of previously inspected facilities to document continued compliance with physical and operational safeguards.
