Reference: 28874Quantitative Researcher - Head of Equities Alpha Research Company Description: A leading proprietary trading firm, recognized for its innovative technology and elite infrastructure, is seeking a leader to enhance its equities business.Role Description: The successful candidate will join a high-performing team of up to 10 professionals dedicated to driving profitability and establishing a strong foundation for significant revenue generation within the firm.At this pivotal stage of development, the firm is eager to recruit an expert in equities alpha research to spearhead this critical function. The focus will be on developing mid-frequency intraday to daily strategies, with target time horizons ranging from milliseconds to 1-2 days.Qualifications:An advanced degree in a STEM discipline 10+ years of experience specializing in alpha research at a prestigious buy-side firm Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams Locations: Chicago and New York *Please note that we will not respond and share information with applicants that we deem unsuitable for the position.
