Location: Charlotte, Nc International, Freightliner, Peterbilt Tractors 3 years or newer Sleeper Bunk set up for OTR Truck Reliable Home Time Dry Van Freight & Containers Drop & Hook Paid Vacation What you’ll do: Haul Amazon loads ( drop and hook loads ) using state-of-the-art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including brand new sleeper cabs . Full-time is typically 70 hours per week Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place Why you’ll love working for an Amazon Freight Partner: Consistent Schedules: You will work approximately 70 hours a week with consistent work all year. CDL Driver Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old, for insurance purposes Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) Out 5 days; Home time 48 hours Must successfully pass DOT physical Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records No current CDL suspension or revocation Clean Motor Vehicle Record Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS/Navigation/Electronic Log Devices You will not be employed by Amazon.
