Job Title: Flexible Healthcare Security Officer Location: New Milford / Sharon, CT Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour Position Summary Provide safety and security for patients, staff, and visitors at multiple healthcare facilities in the New Milford and Sharon area. Work flexible shifts and adapt to different hospital environments. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities * Patrol buildings, grounds, and parking areas to deter and detect safety and security risks.

• Control access to entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; use de‑escalation when

possible.

• Support staff in high‑risk situations (ED, behavioral health, etc.).
• Assist with visitor management, escorts, and customer service.
• Follow hospital procedures, privacy rules, and Securitas Group Health and

Safety Policy (Source: Group Health and Safety Policy). * Complete logs and incident reports accurately and on time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flexibility

• Work at multiple sites (New Milford and Sharon).
• Available for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meets state requirements for security officers; able to obtain/maintain

license.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to stand, walk, and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Preferred: prior security or healthcare experience; de‑escalation/crisis
