Job Summary:
Cardiology Nursing in the Springfield area. This full-time position involves providing exceptional patient care for adult and geriatric populations undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, preparation of procedure rooms, monitoring physiologic data, and supporting quality improvement initiatives in a busy Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute on-call response time requirement
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificates upon hire, maintained current; at least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role includes responsibilities such as preparing and maintaining procedure rooms, managing supplies, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, and documenting patient conditions. The position requires at least one year of hands-on experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care environment.
