Registered Nurse – Cardiac Step Down

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 or 26 weeks available) | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Step Down unit setting
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
• Float to other units and campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and testing within 48 hours of receiving login credentials

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Step Down or similar unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
• Ability to complete pre-assignment testing and required modules prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• LVAD experience
• Heart failure management experience
