Senior Maintenance Manager

Overview Innophos is searching for a Senior Maintenance Manager at our Nashville, TN plant location. Provide leadership to an industrial maintenance organization in support of a 24/7/365 chemical manufacturing operation. Responsible for driving continuous improvements in EHS performance, equipment reliability, manpower utilization, maintenance execution, and maintenance costs. Responsibilities Demonstrates by personal example management's commitment to protect the environment, the safety and health of all employees and contractors working at the site, and to driving sustainability in plant operations Provides vision and leadership to drive continuous improvement across all maintenance, utility, and facilities services activities at the site Directs activities and workflow for each maintenance discipline engaged in the repair, maintenance & installation of machines, tools, & equipment, and in the maintenance of buildings, grounds & utility systems of the site Ensures the proper planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities Works closely with site Operations Manager to prioritize and coordinate resolutions to maintenance issues and operational strategies Ensures that the mechanical integrity/preventive maintenance program is fully executed Budget responsibility for all site maintenance activities Develops and implements appropriate safety training and personnel development activities related to changes in procedures, accountability and to obtain optimal operational performance Monitors safety performance and housekeeping within the department Facilitate or initiate Root Cause Failure Analysis of failed equipment or safety incidents Develop, track and ensures timely reporting of report Maintenance KPI to drive continuous improvement Conducts meetings to resolve or affect resolution of grievances with management, employee and union representative Recommends personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, and conformance to policies and procedures Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred Preferred areas of study: Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering 10 or more years of industrial maintenance experience with 5 or more years of experience leading an industrial maintenance organization Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities World Class Maintenance - TPM, SMED, 5S, and Autonomous Maintenance Storeroom Operations and Management Reliability Improvement technologies, methodologies, and analysis Use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Industrial safety with emphasis on life critical procedures such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Line Entry, Confined Space, and Hot Work Powerhouse, utilities, and plant infrastructure management Extensive Project Management - Concept to Execution Industrial Maintenance repair and installation standards, codes, guidelines, and specifications Experience in a food-grade manufacturing facility is a plus Supervisory Responsibilities Employee coaching Skills development Labor relations Environmental and/or Physical Requirements Work is performed on the plant floor and in an office environment Ability to climb stairs Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision benefits which start the 1st of the month after hire Annual incentive bonus eligibility based on individual and company performance Tax advantaged health savings and spending accounts 401k eligibility with company match and annual discretionary contribution Time off: vacation, holidays/floating holidays, personal and sick days Company provided Life and Disability Insurance Paid Parental Leave Fitness Membership Reimbursement Program Educational assistance program The benefits set forth in this posting reflect Innophos’ current benefits for similarly situated employees, are subject in all respects to the terms and conditions of the applicable program policies and may be modified or discontinued by Innophos in the future (subject to applicable law).
