Surgery Physician Employment In Illinois GENERAL SURGEON OPPORTUNITY Community hospital in Illinois with a robust hospitalist program, strong emergency department, and status as a Public Loan Forgiveness Site. Option to live in St. Louis 30–40 minutes away. Service area of 40,000 patients. ROLE Join another General Surgeon and enjoy referrals from 25 primary care providers. Perform bread and butter procedures. Three operating rooms that run overnight only, one weekend per month. Scopes required, no robotics. Established weight‑loss clinic. Optional half day or week in wound care clinic. PACKAGE Competitive base salary plus WRVU productivity bonus. Quality bonus, sign‑on bonus, retention bonus. Full hospital benefits, CME time off plus stipend and relocation assistance. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Ability to obtain and maintain medical license in Illinois. 1+ years of experience preferred. BC General Surgery (or recently trained, sitting for exam). Interest in bronchoscopy, breast care, bariatric or wound care preferred.
