description : Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. requirement : Day Shift (4x10's) - LOCATION: SPECIALTY BAKERSFIELD (AHSB) - Call is required and shared equally among the circulating nurses. Specialty of cases may include orthopedics, including MAKO robot, Ortho spine (anterior & posterior), general surgery, including DaVinci robot, podiatry, Neurology, and craniotomy. AHSB is a 3 OR hospital. May be asked to float to Bakersfield Main OR if census is low.Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredAcute care facility experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: RequiredAHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
