About the Role:
Join Soccer Shots East Texas as a Youth Soccer Coach and inspire young athletes to develop their skills and love for the game! We are looking for passionate individuals who can create a positive and engaging environment for children aged 2-8. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of kids while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer sessions that promote skill development and enjoyment.
• Engage with children and parents to foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their skills and confidence.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and games.
• Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm to motivate young athletes.
• Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive coaching strategy.
• Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance coaching techniques.
• Promote Soccer Shots programs and events within the community.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a coaching or teaching capacity.
• Passion for soccer and an understanding of the game.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
• Background check clearance required.
• Enthusiastic and energetic demeanor to engage young players.

Our Schedule:

• Mondays through Fridays: mornings 8:30-12:00PM , afternoons 2:00-5:00PM , and evenings 5:00-8:00PM
• Saturdays mornings 8:30-12:00PM
