As a Security Officer Credential Screening in New Orleans, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Screener at a retail location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, supporting access control processes, and providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with customers and staff, and support a positive experience. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 10:30 PMFri08:00 PM - 12:30 AMSat08:00 PM - 12:30 AMSun06:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a retail pharmacy location.
Screen individuals entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures, verify authorized access when applicable, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Monitor entry points and surrounding areas for unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the store, business areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
