Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med-Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years License: Current state license required Certifications: CPR certification required Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Recent acute care experience - Ability to float to all Med-Surg floors Description: Serving the community in a 170-bed facility. Accredited by the Joint Commission. Accredited Chest Pain Center. AHA Stroke Program Award recipient. Services include lab, radiology, respiratory care, emergency department, cardiology, ENT, lung care, gastroenterology, general surgery, inpatient rehabilitation, endoscopy, and more. Beautiful views of the Ozarks. Offers outdoor recreational activities, including renowned bass fishing. The nearby state park provides additional recreational opportunities. Patient ratios are typically 6-7:1 for Med-Surg. Supervisors oversee various patient populations, including adults and geriatrics. Dress code requires scrubs in any color. Unacceptable attire will be specified by facility policy. The role involves working a minimum of every other weekend. Occasional low census may occur, but typically does not affect temporary staff. Replace permanent staff in case of vacancies.
