Job Description\n Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Lewiston, Maine.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Surgical Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/26/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech\n Position Information:\n \n Role: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech\n Department: OR and Supplies\n Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM\n \n Position Requirements:\n \n Weekend and weeknight call rotation required\n Weekly guaranteed hours: 36\n Call Requirements: 3 weeknights per month & 1 weekend per month\n Required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA and/or Certification Scrub Tech (NCCT)\n Years of Experience: 2\n Float Requirements: Float required\n \n Unit Information:\n \n Number of Operating Rooms: 8\n Average Monthly Cases: 575\n EHR: Cerner\n \n Patient Population:\n \n Focus on a diverse range of patients across various surgical specialties, including:\n Cardiac, Orthopedic, Gynecological, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Robotics, and Endoscopy\n \n Required Skills and Experience:\n \n Vascular experience required\n Inpatient and Outpatient experience in a Level 2-3 Trauma environment\n Proficiency in Scrub, Aseptic Techniques, and a variety of surgical procedures including:\n \n General surgery, Orthopedic/Spine, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Thoracic, Bariatric, Plastics, Podiatry, and Robotics\n Specific procedures such as Abdominal Hysterectomy, Anterior/Posterior Repair, Bilateral Tubal Ligation, Dilation & Curettage, and Robotic Assisted Procedures\n \n \n Preferred Skills and Experience:\n \n Experience with Trauma, Davinci XI robot, Mako robot, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)\n Additional preferred skills will align with advanced surgical techniques and emerging technologies.\n \n Educational Requirements:\n \n Certification as a Scrub Tech is mandatory.\n \n Dress Code:\n \n Scrub color will be provided via a scrub dispenser.\n \n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID #38245338.
