Looking for caregivers in Morgantown WV. Must have valid drivers license and car insurance. Will be required to pass a background check and drug test. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Caregiver (PCA)- SUPERHEROS including lapsed CNA, HHA, STNA certifications

Salary: $14.00 - 16.00 per hour.  Credit for experience at a verifiable agency or facility experience translates into $$ on your per-hour rate

Shift Type: Full Time & Part Time, Flexible Shifts, All Shifts Available

• Our Professional Caregivers - SUPERHEROS, have the opportunity to make a difference every day! 

• Additional training to grow in knowledge, expertise, and responsibility-

• Professional Caregivers may be chosen to participate in Nurse-led training to assist in nurse-delegated procedures (dependent on client demand)

You will provide services in accordance with an established plan of care, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home

• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom

• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions and specialized diets

• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments

• Personal Care: Bathing, Showering, Dressing, Shaving, Assistance with Dressing

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

• Observe and Report changes in the client’s condition or intake condition

• Checking vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen

• Assisting with change of ostomy appliances

• Reinforcement of dressings (non-sterile)

• Measuring intake and output

Qualifications and Skills for our  Caregiver Professionals  

• ·      High School Graduate or G.E.D Certificate Preferred

• ·      Must be able to pass a background, fingerprint, and drug screening

• ·      Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for job

• ·      Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance

• ·      Have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance

• ·      Current and valid CPR and First Aid
