We're hiring a Business Development Manager to help us continue building our community and bringing the premier barbershop experience to the masses. The plan is to go from hundreds of thousands of new users to millions. So you'll need to be a creative, quick on your feet, and a world class executor. The Role We're looking for a Business Development Manager to open and close new revenue for theCut outside of our core subscription and payments business. This role owns the full cycle sourcing, pitching, negotiating, closing, and handing off to delivery. You're not feeding someone else's pipeline. You're building it and signing the deals. The work spans two lanes, weighted equally: Brand Partnerships & Advertising Sales, Corporate Business Development. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable selling something that doesn't have a fixed rate card yet, and helping define one. What You'll Do Build and own pipeline across all three lanes Research prospects and build the business case: why theCut, why this audience, why now Lead pitches and negotiate terms end to end, from first call to signed agreement Work with Design and Marketing to build media kits, decks, and custom proposals on theCut's brand system Price and package inventory, and help build the rate card where one doesn't exist Own post-close handoff and renewal Keep CRM hygiene tight and report pipeline honestly, including the deals that won't land Represent theCut at industry events and brand-side meetings What We're Looking For 3-6 years in business development, partnerships, or media sales, with closed deals you can point to Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch rather than inherit it Strong written and verbal communication Comfortable working independently and operating without a playbook Real fluency in barbershop culture and the creator/brand ecosystem Reliable communicator who hits deadlines consistently Bonus: existing relationships on the brand or agency side What theCut Provides Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options Student loan repayment plan 401(k) plan to help save for your future Unlimited paid time off Health and wellness stipend Free lunch and snacks Free company swag Free haircuts through theCut #J-18808-Ljbffr theCut
