Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with RDMS and OB experience for a critical access hospital's ultrasound department. Requirements 2+ years of experience required BLS certification required ARDMS registry required (abdomen or OB) RVT registry preferred Must be able to scan general ultrasound with vascular OB experience required; high-risk OB experience preferred License required if applicable Responsibilities Critical access facility with 30 beds and 2 ultrasound rooms Department staffed with 1 full-time new grad tech, 2 part-time seasoned techs, and 2 travelers Exam time allotted is 30 minutes to 1 hour per patient Equipment includes GE Logic E10, Trophons, and Parks Flolab EMR is Cerner with Philips Intellispace PACS Schedule is Friday through Tuesday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM One night of call per week and one weekend of call per month after shift, averaging 6-8 call days per month May float to outpatient ultrasound if proficient Typical procedures include abdominal, pelvic, and vascular ultrasounds (carotid/venous), ABIs, OB/GYN, small parts, and breast imaging Must be able to complete exams within 30-45 minutes and document reports following radiologist protocols and templates Black scrubs required Ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills and no history of workplace drama Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUsGenerous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-736996 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
