What you bring:

• Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Virginia
• Experience working within a school setting, particularly at the high school level, is highly valued
• Strong understanding of assessments, student evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Expertise in developing, writing, and updating IEPs
• Ability to deliver engaging, effective therapy in both individual and group settings
• Collaborative spirit and positive communication skills for interactions with students, staff, and families
• Comfort with participating in IEP meetings and managing documentation requirements
• Professionalism and reliability to fulfill a full school year commitment

What you'll do:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and comprehensive student evaluations
• Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring compliance and individualized student progress
• Provide targeted, evidence-based speech and language therapy to high school students
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Attend, participate, and contribute to team meetings and IEP sessions (paid within contracted hours)
• Travel between assigned sites as needed (travel time is paid)
• Complete documentation in a timely, accurate manner during contracted hours
