All Painter positions will be expected to recognize, understand, and preform to Morbark paint standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSelect appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas, using automated paint mixing equipmentMake sure all equipment is cleaned and properly prepped before paintingRead and understand formulas and follow written and verbal directionsComplete startup and shut down process on the paint lineDisassemble, clean, reassemble, and maintain painting application equipmentFollow departmental objectives, standards or directionsPerform routine maintenance on painting equipmentAdheres to safety, quality, inventory and production guidelinesFollows company policies and procedures.Education and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is requiredUrethane or automotive experienceTwo (2) to three (3) years of paint line experienceAbility to handle both basic math and print readingAbility to use a tape measureAbility to measure and mix paintPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds from floor to chest to high shelving.Frequent postural changes such as sitting, reaching, climbing, standing, walking, lifting, stooping and twisting.Ability to see details at a close range (within a few feet) and judge which of several objects is closer or further away.Note:This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job.
