Our client is a long‑established, people‑first company supporting major brands with custom packaging, supply‑chain solutions, and logistics. They’re growing their Itasca team and hiring a detail‑driven Buyer to manage purchasing, materials flow, and supplier communication.

What You’ll Do

• Manage purchasing for materials, components, and supplies supporting customer orders
• Generate and maintain purchase orders, pricing, and supplier records
• Track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure on‑time delivery
• Communicate daily with suppliers, account coordinators, schedulers, customer service, and warehouse teams
• Enter specs, order details, and documentation into the ERP system (Epicor)
• Coordinate freight (land, air, sea) and maintain all related documentation
• Perform ad hoc reporting and purchasing‑related administrative tasks
• Support a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment with accuracy and urgency

What You Bring

• Associate degree in Business or related field (required)
• 2+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or operations support experience
• Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and virtual collaboration skills
• Excellent communication, follow‑through, and organizational ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree
• ERP experience (Epicor or similar)
• Experience in a corporate sales/service or manufacturing environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish
