Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a fast-paced surgical unit where you will provide exceptional post-operative care to patients. You will be responsible for maintaining surgical procedure sites, performing wound care, managing Foley Catheters, and administering blood transfusions, among other critical tasks. We pride ourselves on teamwork and the high standard of care we offer our patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of post-op surgical procedure sites
• Wound care including packing, dressing changes, and wound vac maintenance
• Foley Catheter care and continuous bladder irrigation
• Ostomy appliance management
• Nasogastric tube insertion and suction
• TPN administration
• Blood administration and central line care
• Participate in bedside shift report

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Strong time management skills and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork experience; background in post-op surgical areas preferred
