This is an unpaid internship but offers job training, mentorship and exposure to all aspects of fashion culture. Responsibilities Responsible for product page editorial and generate engaging product copy and editor’s notes. Review and edit all product page copy prior to going live, ensuring quality and brand style. Create weekly marketing emails, automated and ad‑hoc email campaigns. Write copy for our online magazine and contribute ideas. Prepare advertising rate cards and introduce the “Look Book.” Develop copy for promotional activities such as sweepstakes and magazine promotions. Write search engine advertising copy for ads on Google/Yahoo/MSN. Update email templates for customer and business communications. Create non‑editorial site copy including terms & conditions, shipping policies, and marketing messages for the site. Qualifications Passion for women’s economic opportunities. Full or part‑time student working toward a degree. Eligible to receive school credit and commit 2–3 days a week for 3 months. Experience with internet/interactive copywriting within fashion, editorial or related industry. Excellent command of the English language. Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously. Understanding of the online interactive experience. Ability to work in a fast‑moving entrepreneurial environment with competing priorities. Desire to develop magazine/editorial experience. Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player.
