About the Position

Locums Pediatrics coverage in California with a predictable outpatient weekday schedule and phone only call. You will be the solo pediatric provider with office staff and MAs supporting clinic flow.

Highlights

• Outpatient clinic, Monday through Friday daytime schedule; October 30-November 20
• Phone consult call only, no in person call responsibilities
• Manageable daily volume, 15 to 18 patients per day
• Short coverage window, covering for a provider on vacation

Practice Setting

• Outpatient pediatrics, preventive care
• Patient population includes pediatrics and newborns
• Typical visits are bread and butter pediatrics, including newborn checks
• Solo provider model, supported by office staff and MAs, no APP support

Schedule

• Weekday clinic schedule, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p
• Coverage needed Oct 30 through Nov 20
• Weeknight and weekend call required, phone consults only
• Typical call volume, weeknights 1 to 2 consults, weekends 5 to 10 consults

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• California medical license required, will not wait for license
• NRP and PALS required
