About the Opportunity

Syndicate Agencies is seeking motivated individuals interested in building a career in life insurance sales.

Our agents work with individuals and families to understand their life insurance needs and help them evaluate coverage options available through multiple insurance carriers.

This is a 1099 independent contractor sales opportunity compensated entirely through commissions. There is no hourly wage or base salary.

This position is based in the Los Banos, California area and offers a hybrid work arrangement. Agents have access to our Los Banos office while also having the ability to conduct sales activities virtually.

Both experienced, licensed life insurance agents and motivated individuals interested in obtaining their life insurance license are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective clients regarding life insurance coverage.
• Conduct client appointments by phone, virtually, or when applicable, in person.
• Discuss clients' insurance needs, budgets, and coverage goals.
• Present appropriate life insurance options from available insurance carriers.
• Complete and submit life insurance applications.
• Follow up with clients regarding applications, policy status, and coverage.
• Maintain accurate client information and follow applicable insurance regulations.
• Participate in available sales training, coaching, roleplaying, and team meetings.
• Provide professional and responsive service throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to learn and receive coaching.
• Comfortable communicating with clients by phone and virtually.
• Previous sales, customer service, or insurance experience is helpful but not required.
• Must obtain the appropriate life insurance license before conducting insurance sales.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor, 100% commission-based sales opportunity. There is no hourly wage or base salary.

Established, actively producing agents within our organization currently earn approximately 20,000–40,000 per month in commissions , with some high-producing agents earning more.

These earnings are not guaranteed and should not be considered typical starting income. Actual earnings vary significantly based on individual sales production, experience, activity, and other factors. New agents may earn substantially less while developing their business.

Agents are compensated based on the life insurance policies they personally sell. Additional information regarding commission levels and carrier contracts will be discussed during the interview process.

• Day 1 vesting — agents are vested in their personally produced business from the start, subject to applicable carrier contracts and agent agreements.

Licensing

An active life insurance license is required before an agent may solicit or sell life insurance.

Applicants who are not currently licensed may apply; however, they must obtain the appropriate license before conducting insurance sales activities.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid independent contractor opportunity based in Los Banos, California.

Agents may utilize our Los Banos office and may also conduct sales activities virtually, subject to applicable licensing and compliance requirements.

As independent contractors, agents are responsible for managing their own schedules and sales activities.
