Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) are seeking a full-time non-tenure track Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist. Successful candidates must be board certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology with an MD of equivalent.

Responsibilities

Direct patient care

Teaching and supervision of nurse anesthetists and residents

Opportunities for clinical and basic science research

This position will teach medical students, residents and fellows.

Qualifications

Education: M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree required. Completion of an accredited residency required; ABPN board certification or board eligibility required.

Licenses: Unrestricted Tennessee medical license at the time of appointment. Current DEA certification number, Eligible for malpractice insurance, Relocation is not required, however, the work is on-site.
