We believe in going the extra mile and aim to make a genuine difference in our participants' lives.The Registered Dietitian works in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to develop and implement the WelbeHealth nutrition services program. In addition to delivering nutrition services, including conducting assessments and providing counseling to participants, the Registered Dietitian functions as a liaison between WelbeHealth and the food and supplement service providers, develops menus, and ensures compliance with all regulations pertaining to the kitchen and meal service delivery.This role is different because the Registered Dietitian at WelbeHealth:Get to see the direct impact of their work, supporting and educating participants throughout their care journey, not just in isolated appointmentsCollaborate with nursing, therapy, and other IDT members to create holistic nutrition plans that aren't an afterthought, but rather central to participant care planningWe care about our team members. That's why we offer:Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days401K savings + matchComprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonusAnd additional benefits!On the day-to-day, you will:Conduct nutrition assessments to determine participant needs, preferences, and goalsActively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plansDeliver and document nutrition interventions in accordance with physician orders or as agreed upon in participant care plans, including but not limited to implementing specific diets and providing nutrition counseling to participants and their familiesOversee menu planning and meal delivery programs to ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are met, and that participants receive meals according to specified dietsManage the nutrition staff, including hiring, training, overseeing, and mentoringGuide the intake and enrollment process to ensure prospective participants move through the enrollment process in a timely and effective mannerJob requirements include:Registered Dietitian with at least two (2) years of experience directing nutrition services in a healthcare settingCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification requiredExcellent leadership, organization, and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families, and IDT membersAt least one (1) year of experience working with a frail or elderly populationWe are seeking a Registered Dietitian that ideally has geriatric care or chronic disease management experience.
