Job Summary:
The hospital is seeking a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. The role involves working on a specialized oncology floor, providing chemotherapy administration, blood product management, and comprehensive patient care. Job Details:

• Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Indiana RN licensure, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); 2+ years of nursing experience with oncology background preferred; experience with electronic medical records (EMR): Cerner; oncology certification or chemo/bio certification within one year of employment for Lutheran-employed staff.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology experience is a plus.
• Float: Floating may be required to other units.
• Additional Information: The role involves working on a 24-bed medical-surgical oncology unit, administering chemotherapy, and handling blood products. Scrub color is navy blue. Travelers must attach required license and certifications and include a valid drivers license and permanent home address matching ID. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Local candidates are not accepted.
