Infusion Nurse

Role Description This is a Per-diem, on-site Infusion Nurse role based in the Tri State of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. The Infusion Nurse will provide home-based infusion therapy, including patient assessments, medication administration, vascular access management, and monitoring for adverse reactions. Responsibilities include educating patients and caregivers on therapy plans, equipment use, and self-care, as well as reinforcing safety protocols and infection control standards. The Infusion Nurse will collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and care coordinators to implement individualized care plans and ensure continuity of care. Additional duties include accurate documentation, timely reporting, maintenance of clinical supplies, and participation in quality and safety initiatives. Qualifications Strong clinical foundation in Nursing and Medicine, with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Demonstrated experience in Home Infusion, including IV therapy, vascular access devices, and infusion pump operation. Proven capability in Direct Patient Care, with a focus on patient education, advocacy, and culturally sensitive communication. Background in Critical Care Medicine or acute care settings, with the ability to recognize and respond to clinical changes and emergencies. Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York; BSN preferred. Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferred. Excellent documentation skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with electronic health records. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation for home visits, and willingness to travel within the New York City Metropolitan Area. Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary care team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
