Clinicians in Action professional development program. Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy. You are a healer and a helper. You are equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities, adapting to their needs and finding joy in the variety of work settings. You collaborate with peers and make referrals as needed. You act as a teacher, training patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity. Title: Physical Therapist. Qualifications Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. Must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Must have a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
