Psychiatry - Addiction Physician

A nationally recognized academic-affiliated health system in the Greater Boston area is seeking a BC/BE Addictions Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join a growing hospital-based addiction consultation service within a large, multidisciplinary behavioral health program.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time Addictions Psychiatry opportunity within a tertiary care academic medical center
• Join a newly established hospital and Emergency Department addiction consultation service
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and recovery support navigators
• Opportunity for both inpatient consultation and outpatient clinical practice
• Strong administrative and operational support infrastructure
• Collaborative and collegial behavioral health environment
• Teaching opportunities through an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program
• Academic appointment available through a regional medical school partnership (for qualified candidates)
• Participation in shaping a rapidly expanding addiction medicine service line

Candidate Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Subspecialty training or focused experience in Addiction Psychiatry preferred
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
• Strong interest in hospital-based addiction care and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Commitment to teaching, academic engagement, and patient-centered care
