Hospital Phlebotomist

$21.87 - $32.28 per hour

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Hospital Phlebotomist for a Seattle location working Friday to Monday, 10pm-8:30am. The role involves collecting patient blood specimens, processing specimens for testing, maintaining patient records, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic purposes
Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
Provide customer service to patients and handle billing information collection

Requirements

Washington State phlebotomy license (MA-P) or filed application at hire
Pass standardized color blindness test
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
Exceptional customer service skills
1 or more years phlebotomy experience (preferred)

Compensation: $21.87 to $32.28 per hour plus 3rd shift differential
