Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician. In this full-time, onsite position, you’ll work with a caseload of Pre-K through 5th graders, completing comprehensive evaluations and participating in ARD meetings to champion student success. As an itinerant diagnostician, you’ll engage with multiple elementary campuses, making a meaningful difference for Spanish- and English-speaking learners.

Your skills in educational diagnostics and your bilingual abilities will help shape positive outcomes for students, staff, and families throughout the academic year.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• A minimum of three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
• State certification exam passed for educational diagnosticians
• Prior experience in a school-based setting
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
• Ability to complete TEA fingerprinting (if not completed recently with another public district)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations for students in Pre-K through 5th grade across multiple elementary schools
• Prepare and participate in ARD meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for individualized education plans
• Collaborate with school staff and families to monitor and support each student’s academic and social-emotional growth
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Travel between assigned schools as an itinerant diagnostician
