About the Position

The Certified Radiation Therapist will be responsible for accurately delivering prescribed courses of radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong patient communication skills, and the ability to operate and troubleshoot complex radiation delivery and documentation systems (Varian, Accuray, ARIA).

Requirements

• License: Must possess a current and active CA Radiation Therapy License (CRT) .

• Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Radiation Therapy.

  • Prior experience in travel assignments is required.

Technical Skills & Equipment Proficiency

The candidate must have expert-level experience with the following:

• Treatment Modalities:

  • Electron Beam Therapy

  • External Beam Therapy (EBT)

  • IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy)

  • SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)

• Equipment:

  • Experience treating patients on both Varian and Accuray Linear Accelerators (Linacs).

• Software/Systems:

  • Proficiency with Varis- Vision/ ARIA for treatment documentation, scheduling, and billing.
