Duties
Perform analysis and evaluations related to aspects of accounting, management control and risk management.
Analyze audit operations to improve effectiveness through ongoing modifications including better internal controls, increased cost effectiveness, redesign of reports, or faster consolidation of data.
Review authorization acts, public laws, executive directives, etc. for CMS compliance implications; recommend the establishment or modification of policies and procedures which would ensure compliance.
Prepare appropriate audit reports which summarize results and contain recommendations to correct deficiencies disclosed by the audit/compliance review.
