Systems Support Engineer

Systems Support EngineerOptumRx, a UnitedHealth Group company, specializes in the delivery, clinical management and affordability of prescription medications and consumer health products. We are in the process of launching several new, state of the art Pharmacy Fulfillment Centers across the United States. We are seeking a Systems Support Engineer who will be on a team responsible for the setup, ongoing support, and management of critical automation PCs, servers, and PLCs. The ideal candidate would be based out of our upcoming Mesa, Arizona location and prepared for the occasional need to travel.This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:00 am - 11:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.We offer 2 weeks of training. The hours during training will be 6:00 am - 3:00 pm PST. Training will be conducted onsite and will need to travel to Mesa, AZ.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for the setup, ongoing support, and management of critical automation PCs, servers, and PLCs that run the automated fulfillment pharmacyInterfacing and communicating with pharmacy workers and stakeholders to understand the system problems they're facing and to update them on the statuses of their issuesCoordinate with internal and external teams for software upgrades, bug fixes, software patching, and implementing new equipment and featuresWork closely with partners teams to coordinate project activities during installs and extended supportAssist with debugging PLC's, networking, power systems, I / O devices, etc. on the automation lineUse data analytic skills to troubleshoot and improve performance and reliability of equipment and entire systemOther duties may be assigned based on business needsRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDMust be 18 years of age OR older2+ years of experience in technology support, system management, OR another technology administration roleIntermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPointBeginner level of experience in databases, SQL, and data toolsAbility to travel up to 10% of the time (Domestic)Ability to work any of our full time (40 hours / week), 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:00 am - 11:00 pm from Monday - Friday, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends given the business needPreferred Qualifications:Experience with administrating windows systemsExperience with applying windows updates across a network and installing drivers for specific hardwareExperience with technology monitoring toolsExperience with using a ticketing system (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.)Experience with cable management and station organizationExperience in manufacturing, automation, OR fulfillment centersExperience in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) industrySoft Skills:Demonstrated proficiency with problem solving and delivering within time constraintsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
