Sales & Customer Service Representative

Summary:
Applicant promotes quality customer service and processes sales and registration transactions. Acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers and is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work with children
• Ability to work with families in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with lead follow up and lead generation
• Comfortable engaging with leads and leads follow up
• Comfortable selling our swim program / product
• Comfortable with lead conversion and lead tasks
• Intermediate level computer skills required using Word Excel Google workspace
• Great phone skills
• Professional kind and patient
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to complete tasks on time and on budget
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues of all ages and backgrounds

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Some college or college degree preferred
• Two years of previous customer service and/or administrative office experience preferred
• Sales experience preferred
• Previous Salesforce training preferred
• Previous WAVE training preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Answers telephones responds to inquiries takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
2. Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques.
3. Schedules and manages birthday/pool parties. if applicable .
4. Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach.
5. Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending.
6. Greets parents and students as they report to the front desk.
7. Maintains cleanliness of the front desk area Snack Shack area changing areas restrooms and observation area.
8. Checks voicemail and email correspondence and responds in a timely manner.
9. Updates informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature.
10. Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
11. Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems.
12. Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.
13. Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

Certifications and licenses : CPR First Aid and AED certification preferred.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
