Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential with authorization in Special Education
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a special education capacity preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and legal compliance
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, administrators, and parents
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptable and committed to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide differentiated instruction in a variety of classroom settings (pull-out, push-in, resource)
• Assess students’ progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely student records, including progress reports and documentation of services provided
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
• Engage with families to support students’ academic and behavioral goals
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom community where all students can thrive
