NTT DATA Services is seeking an SAP technical professional for the role of SAP BODS Technical Lead. In this role you will:Duties and Responsibilities for this position include (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis):Provide fixes to eliminate root cause of failures for both support and development model projectsUtilize ETL(SAP BODS) processes to extract data from different kinds of source systems into a Oracle/HANA/SQL Server systemAnalyze requirements, evaluate alternate designs and propose solutions in a SAP BI/BO reporting environmentFacilitate and coordinate discussions and to manage expectations of multiple stakeholdersWork in an onsite-offshore model involving daily interactions with offshore teams to ensure on-time quality deliverablesBasic Qualifications:Minimum five years of experience in Business Objects Data ServicesMinimum two years' experience in SQLDesired qualifications for this role include:Ability to drive the ETL (SAP BODS) support process and ensure compliance of project standards and deliverablesAbility to write SQL Script views, PL/SQL and stored procedures from DataWarehousing perspectiveAbility to analyze performance bottlenecks (SQL Plans) and provide optimization techniquesIntegrating experience with Non SAP Data and/or Real-Time Streaming DataExperince with HANA is a big plusExperince with other ETL tools like Informatica/SSIS is a big plusExperience in other ETL tools like Informatica & SSIS is an advantageExperienced in creating technical design documents from the functional specification documentsTravel: We are seeking candidates local to the Morristown, New Jersey areaDegree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
