We're looking for another team member for our Container Design Team. We install seasonal designs and container gardens at residential and commercial locations around the Richmond area. This is a seasonal, year-round position. Working for 5-6 week stretches during March, May, Sept, Nov with heavier hours during the summer, and more flexible hours in the winter/spring. During this time hours will be Monday - Friday 8:30-4:00.

You will be working with another Container Team Designer and report to our Midlothian Nursery location. If you have a passion for plants, enjoy working outdoors, and are ready for a physically active role, this position may be a perfect fit for you! Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain exterior plants and container gardens around the Richmond area
• Water, fertilize, and care for container plants to ensure they thrive throughout the year
• Perform regular plant maintenance, including deadheading, pruning, and replacing plants as needed
• Transport plants, containers, and equipment to various locations
• Lift and carry containers, hoses, and other equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Climb ladders to place or adjust plants and containers in various locations
• Assist with additional landscape tasks as required

Requirements:

• Clean driving record and reliable transportation are a must
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as hauling heavy hoses and climbing ladders
• Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to care for plants in all stages of growth
• Flexibility to adjust hours based on seasonal demand (more hours during summer, reduced hours in winter)
• Prior experience with plant care or landscaping is a plus, but not required
