Jasper Reports / Oracle Developer

Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience in Jasper Reports development and complex report engineering.

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedure development.

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies, release cycles, and SDLC practices.

• Experience in unit testing, developer testing, and automated code quality validation.

• Experience with version control and issue tracking tools including Jira and Bitbucket.

• Experience in data aggregation, data warehousing analysis, and technical system documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and optimize complex Jasper Reports and data visualizations for large-scale enterprise applications.

• Develop and maintain robust Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, functions, and stored procedures.

• Perform unit testing and code debugging to ensure high reporting accuracy and computational performance.

• Perform data aggregation and analytical modeling to support statewide reporting initiatives.

• Participate in Agile development ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions.

• Manage technical documentation, data dictionary updates, and report release specifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and database architects to resolve complex data issues.
