OVERVIEW


The Warehouse Associate & Box Truck Driver is responsible for unloading, processing, pricing, and selling donated building materials, furniture, appliances, and other items. This role also includes operating a 16-foot box truck for donation pickups and deliveries, while providing excellent customer service to donors, volunteers, and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load, unload, move, and secure donated materials.
• Communicate professionally with donors, customers, and volunteers.
• Provide donation receipts and politely refuse donations when necessary.
• Process, price, and stock donated items for resale.
• Keep the store, warehouse, and dock areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist customers with purchases and loading materials.
• Support the Store Manager and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience driving a 16-foot box truck or similar vehicle.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to safely lift and move 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
