Electrician Helper

Job Title: Electrician Helper Job Summary Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is seeking hardworking and dependable Electrician Helpers to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities Assist electricians with the installation of electrical systems and equipment. Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment throughout the jobsite. Assist with conduit installation, wire pulls, cable tray installation, grounding systems, and equipment setup. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the direction of experienced electricians. Assist with material handling, inventory, and staging of equipment. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project safety requirements. Support crews with daily construction activities while developing electrical trade skills. Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and trade partners. Minimum Job Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous construction experience preferred but not required. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn the electrical trade. Ability to safely use basic hand tools and power tools. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical Requirements Work up to 10–12-hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday. Climb ladders, scaffolding, and work from aerial lifts as required. Work in confined spaces, uneven terrain, and active construction environments. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, high-visibility vest, and steel-toed boots.
