Maintenance Supervisor - Assisted Living Community

Water's Edge at Lake Wales is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our assisted living community. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the community, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections
• Manage maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
• Ensure all facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing urgent issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets
• Oversee vendor relationships and procurement of maintenance supplies and services
• Ensure the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate maintenance equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to assisted living facilities
