Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Location

Wichita Falls, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (10:30–21:00) with rotating day off | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Apply strong critical thinking skills to assess, monitor, and respond to patient status changes in the PACU setting
• Manage care for a broad range of surgical cases consistent with the scope of the unit
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
• Complete required orientation modules during scheduled orientation period

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in-hand prior to start
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Strong PACU clinical experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
• Familiarity with a wide variety of surgical case types
