Duration: 6 Months - Long Term

Location: Washington, DC 20433

Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon.

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Agentic AI, LLMs, LangGraph, and Microsoft Azure . The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building, testing, deploying, and supporting production-grade AI applications, with a strong focus on clean, reliable, scalable, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy production-ready AI applications using Python .
Build agentic AI workflows and LLM-powered applications using LangGraph and related frameworks .
Develop RAG solutions involving document chunking, embeddings, retrieval, and evaluation.
Integrate LLMs, AI services, MCP tools, and RESTful APIs into enterprise applications.
Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and support AI applications in Microsoft Azure environments.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on Python development experience, including type annotations, OOP, and modular application design.
Proven experience developing and deploying production-grade applications.
Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, LLMs, LangGraph, and multi-agent workflows.
Experience building RAG pipelines, including chunking, embeddings, retrieval, and evaluation.
Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), tool integration, and API development.
Strong experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Microsoft Azure application deployment.
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, debugging, and production support.
