As a Security Officer Controlled Access Specialist in Earth City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You may conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and provide strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday – Friday, 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and facility personnel by following site‑specific access control procedures and supporting security‑related protocols at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions. Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including shipping, receiving, parking, and trailer areas, while helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting unusual conditions. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
