Application Engineer

LNS North America is seeking an experienced engineer to support the Engineering by providing technical expertise in the company's conveyor and coolant system product line. Conveys key customer and machine information to the engineering group to ensure accurate designs.

Essential duties include:

• Performs technical analysis of steady rest systems by viewing applications and recommending solutions for the US market.
• Provides detailed information to Kings Mountain facility to complete engineering functions.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships.
• Attending trade shows as appropriate to promote the business.
• Collects information such as measurements, layouts, and performance expectations to meet customer needs.
• Participates in new product installations working closely with Product Manager.
• Follow up with first installation of special applications and makes necessary corrections to the application.

Position requirements: Education and/or experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
