ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Critical Care Float Pool (ICUFP) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-level care to critically ill patients across various ICU departments. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to devise and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC charting systems.
• Float between multiple ICU and Med-Surg departments as required.

Schedule

This position requires a 4x12-night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend work is mandatory, and the candidate must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care settings.
• Certifications required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position.
• Candidates must be local to the area; pending licenses will not be accepted.
• One week of Request Time Off (RTO) is permitted, and applicants must be able to float between various departments.

Additional Information
