Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse position is located in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves providing patient care in a floating capacity across multiple facilities, including Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment is a 13-week travel opportunity, starting as soon as possible, with mandatory night shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, 3/12's schedule
• Required Qualifications: Arizona license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), 2+ years of experience in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry setting, Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) experience
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information:
  • This is a float pool position requiring willingness to float between departments and four facilities.
  • Work six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule.
  • The nurse will hold shift accountability for patient care, demonstrating critical thinking and leadership skills according to the Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • The position emphasizes clinical competencies, delegation, supervision, and safe delivery of care.
  • The nurse will work in a ratio of 6:1 and may wear any scrub color.
  • This position is created to fill a vacant role.
