Job Description
We are seeking experienced Quality Inspectors to support aircraft maintenance operations within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station. This role is vital for ensuring maintenance activities, inspections, aircraft records, and return-to-service documentation are completed in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of aviation maintenance documentation, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Review maintenance records, work orders, and aircraft documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify compliance with FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and company procedures.
- Perform inspections of maintenance activities, components, and aircraft prior to return-to-service.
- Issue and review FAA Form 337 and FAA Form 8130-3 documentation when applicable.
- Maintain and audit aircraft and repair station records in accordance with Part 145 requirements.
- Assist with maintaining quality manuals, inspection procedures, and regulatory documentation.
- Support internal audits, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel, management, and regulatory representatives to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
Essential Skills
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
- 5+ years of aviation maintenance, inspection, quality assurance, or quality control experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FAA Part 43 and Part 145 regulations.
- Experience reviewing aircraft maintenance records and return-to-service documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering data, technical publications, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance teams.
- Strong computer skills and experience maintaining electronic maintenance records.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Military aviation quality, maintenance control, or inspection experience will be considered.
- Experience with various helicopter models such as AW139, AW119, AW109, Bell 412, Bell 427, EC145, EC135, AS350, S92, S76, MD500 is advantageous.

Work Environment
This position supports an FAA Part 145 helicopter maintenance operation and is split between office and hangar environments. The Quality Inspector will work closely with maintenance technicians, avionics technicians, leadership, and regulatory personnel to ensure aircraft are maintained and returned to service safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with FAA requirements.
